We learned so much at the NACE March Meeting 2017!
NACE members traveled with their guests to the Chubb Hotel & Conference Center in Lafayette Hill. After the winter storm that hit the previous week, it was clear that everyone was excited to get out in the lovely spring weather and enjoy a fun and insightful meeting.
Attendees were greeted at the door with signature drinks, which they took with them into cocktail hour. Snacks were catered by Garces Events, who did a spectacular job with tacos, sliders, and more.
After spending time networking during the cocktail hour, everyone sat down for a very unique educational program, hosted by Nancy Bauman and Phyllis Jablonowski, CSEP. These incredible women, who are NACE members and past presidents of ISES (now known as ILEA), facilitated an interactive session called Shades Of Individuality - A Story Of Awareness."
During the session, guests were asked to label themselves as Methodical or Adventurous, and to decide if they were more invested in Relationships or Responsibility.
From there, attendees were challenged to open their minds to a better understanding of themselves and others, engage future clients with an intuitive sales approach, build their communication skills, live in a more harmonious, productive work environment, and accelerate problem solving while increasing trust and reducing conflict.
By becoming self aware, NACE members learned that they could employ the right approach at the right time in order to be come more effective and successful in their businesses. What useful information to have, especially in the Special Events industry!
Thanks to Nancy and Phyllis for the incredible session, and to all of our sponsors for making the evening possible!
Thanks to our title sponsors for helping us produce this month's meeting.
